I am a barefoot hippie mama of 3, and I absolutely love weddings. Not JUST weddings, but love in general. It is my goal to surround myself with as much love as possible. And working weddings is the most joyful, fulfilling, and inspirational work I have ever done.
I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that every love story is profoundly unique, and it is my honor to be chosen to be apart of such intimate moments with you and your partner.
My artistic journey began when I was young, but always thought I would grow up and find a "big girl job." HA! Thank goodness that didn't happen, and this amazing career became a reality.
I am not only a Wedding Hair Specialist, but also a Candid Photographer, and have about 100 other hobbies. I always thought I had to choose between them all, but I have found that having one Vendor who can mark off multiple boxes can be SUPER handy for the wedding day (and can save you tons of money which is the basis for creating this Vendor Collective).
Our goal at Indie Wed Co. is to help couples find QUALITY vendors and work with ONE company with many artists to make the planning process simple and fun.
As your hairstylist & photographer, I can fix your flyaways during photos, while also posing you in a way that is both flattering, and sentimental. As your Wedding Artist, I am able to gently keep everyone on-task and help the day run smoothly from the updos, to the "i dos!" I vow to be as involved as you would like me to be- I am your bestie for the day!!! Bring on the last-minute bang trims, bustling, and double-windsor tie jobs! I got you!

Not only do I provide an unrivaled experience with extreme attention to detail (I'm OCD, blessing for you, a curse for me haha), but I also bring these personalized services to you, creating a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Pre-Wedding Hair Trial INCLUDED
Whether you are between two hair styles, or dead-set on "the one," a wedding style run-through can help us to discuss all of your expectations and eliminate any unspoken thoughts before the wedding day. I want your wedding day to be as s m o o t h & s t r e s s - f r e e as possible! "
One trial style is included for the Bride!
Bridal Hair Package $400
DAY OF STYLING + TRIAL
For the big day, I recommend that the bride go last- to ensure that she has the freshest hair, and can get in her dress immediately after for photos. Included in the bridal style is a travel hair spray for any of those pesky fly-aways!
The bride is the primary focus of any wedding- and rightfully so! I want to make sure the bride feels that her hair is absolutely perfect!!
Bridal Party Style $150
For each of the bridesmaids, flower girls, and moms, I set aside 30 minutes for each style. I rarely use the entire 30 minutes. My average time is 20 minutes, but I allow for 30 to make sure the day moves smoothly!
Based on the bride's vision for her bridal party, I prefer to have a photo of what each girl will want for her hair style. (I will try to read your mind, but that's much harder to do!) This can be shown to me on the day of the wedding.
Bachelorette or Bridal Shower Style $150
Do you have a hard time even curling your hair? Don't stress about your look, schedule a special style for all of your special events! Bring a photo of what you are wanting, and I'll send you off looking like the radiant bride you are!

A trial is included in the bridal makeup package!
We set aside an hour for the bridal makeup application to be sure that everything is absolutely perfect!!
ADDITIONAL FULL APPLICATIONS.
For each of the bridesmaids, flower girls, and moms, we set aside 45 minutes for each makeup application. This includes air brush application, and false lashes!
FLOWER GIRL PARTIAL
Each additional application for my little clients under the age of 12 will be considered a Partial Makeup Application and will be $60.
She will be given a very subtle look, just enough to make her feel like one of the girls getting pampered!!!
This can include anything except false lashes and foundation!

Okay, we know that most of our brides are not experts in hairstyling + makeup. That's why we are here!! We hope by answering these questions, it will ease your mind, and give you the sense of confidence you need!
Do you work with all couples?
YES! We are PRO-LOVE ❤️ and gladly work with any couple in love!
Do you travel?
YES! We travel anywhere for weddings, and have been all over the place for weddings! From Indiana to Florida, Alaska to Costa RICAAA, we got you covered!!
What is your travel fee?
There are 2 answers for this. In-state weddings have an adjusted price based on mileage.
Out-of-state weddings will be negotiated with my personal travel expenses in mind.

Do you require a deposit to save the date?
Yes! Once we receive your contract, we will double check your totals and send an invoice for the 50% deposit. Once both of those are received, your date is OFFICIALLY set!!!
Does the deposit deduct from the total amount?
Yes!
What form of payment should I use?
We have the option for you to pay with cash, card, Zelle, or check. If you do choose to pay with a card, there will be an automatic 4% processing fee, which is why most of my brides choose to pay with cash, Zelle, or check!
**There is a small cash discount of 5% off the total amount if you choose to pay in cash.
When should I have the rest of the payment back to you by?
The remainder of your payment should be made 30 days prior to the wedding date.
Do you have a minimum amount of people in order to book the date?
Yes, for hair, our minimum is 6 styles in order for us to travel to your site, for makeup our minimum is 4. If you have less than our minimum, you are welcome to come to us in Noblesville, IN!
But usually, even if you only have 5 people- someone is bound to be up for getting pampered! (Sister, Aunt, Mom, Flower Girl- we can get creative!)
What is your average amount of time spent on each style?

On average, I will spend about 20-25 minutes per updo, but in order to plan well for the day, I allow for "30 minutes." Now if you are already aware that your hair is INSANELY thick- then just mentally prepare for me to spend a little extra time on ya! For half-up styles and all down curls, I need the full 30 minutes to make sure everything is curled well and staying all night!

On average, we will spend about 35-45 minutes per updo, but in order to plan well for the day, I allow for "45 minutes."
What is your average number of styles per wedding party?
On average, we have 9 hairstyles per wedding party, and 6 makeup applications. This includes Bride, Bridesmaids, Moms, Flower Girls, and even family of the Bride & Groom! It is not uncommon for me to have grandmas, aunts, and cousins wanting to get their hair and makeup done- and we don't mind at all! The more the merrier!
But to help you get an idea for the efficiency...My record so far is 14 hairstyles in 4.5 hours! (small flex lol!)
Can I book your minimum and hire another stylist to do the rest of the bridal party?
Due to our exclusivity clause, we do not work with other artists. We are a team of very efficient artists and have our craft down to a science!! It is our job to keep you on schedule!
This policy is in place for a multitude of reasons, and is something that I have had to develop over the years to protect the integrity and reputation of our work!
When hiring us for any given service, and another hairstylist (or makeup artist) is secured, a $200 supervision fee will be added to the final total. This means we get to take a look at each style and make slight adjustments if needed. If a style needs to be redone, it will be charged as a full price service.
This one is a tough one for me personally to reinforce because I am such a carefree human by nature, but I have to protect my reputation. <3
How much do you charge for a trial?
A trial is included in both Bridal Packages.
How early should I book my trial?
We recommend our brides wait until about 2 months out from the wedding to do the trial. This gives you enough time to (hopefully) get your dress in to try it on together to see the entire look!!
If we do a trial, do you only do one style, or can we do multiple styles in one appointment?
We get asked this question quite often. We prefer for the bride to come in with photos and a good idea of what she is wanting so we can be as efficient as possible! Yes of course we can alter and change the style slightly during that time. But if you know ahead of time that you are not quite sure what you are wanting to do, please let us know this at the TIME OF BOOKING, so we can prepare for the amount of time we will need.
The trial is charged based on the amount of time spent, so if you do plan on needing additional styles, there will be an additional charge of $150 per additional style.
Do you book holidays?
Yes! If you are interested in booking a Holiday, there will be an additional $200 Holiday sur charge added to final amount!
Where should I order extensions?

I am a HUGE fan of Bellami Extensions and Irresistible Me. These are clip-in style, and can bought online. You will want to purchase these 3-4 months in advance, that way if they come in and are too light or too dark, you can return them and get the color that matches your hair, or you can tone them in a salon! A good rule of thumb is when in doubt, go with a shade lighter than you think. They tend to look darker online, in my experience! Clip-in extensions are wonderful for ALL styles, and are generally more affordable.
And secondly-- Halo Couture extensions.
These can be tricky to find because they are sold by distributors, AND I AM OFFICIALLY ABLE TO ORDER THEM FOR YOU!! As of January 2019, I am officially a distributor of Halo Couture Extensions! Which is actually awesome because you get to match your hair to them IN PERSON. They are great for half up half down styles. They are thick, and full, and I believe you get the most out of your money because they last forever! That being said, they are pretty pricey. You get what you pay for! Halo extensions are best for half up styles, all down, or a very loose looking braided style. If you are wanting a full updo- keep reading!!
When should I have the contract back to you by?
The contract should be returned to me as soon as you are able. Once we have the contract and the deposit, we will officially block off your date! So really, the sooner the better!
